Jannet Alarcon was born in Peru, South America, and that is where she spent most of her years as a child and youth. On December 2005, Ms. Alarcon obtained an Associate Degree in Hotel Management from Instituto de Educación Superior Tecnológico "Magda Portal - Cieneguilla", in Lima, Peru. She also attended Universidad Cesar Vallejo, also in Lima, Peru, where she studied law for three and a half years. She came to the United States in 2013 to reunite with her family and is grateful for all the opportunities she has received since she came to this country.
Ms. Alarcon’s interest for Immigration Law sparked when she volunteered for two local non-profits in Fort Worth, Texas. Those experiences helped her understand the intricacies of the immigration process; a process that she herself had to endure to reunite with her family after waiting for several years.
Ms. Alarcon joined The Law Offices of Veronica Garza, PLLC on January 2017, and became an integral part of the team. She has a Bachelors Degree in Paralegal Studies with a minor in Spanish from Texas Wesleyan University. Her dedication to serving others is demonstrated by the way she carefully and passionately works on each and every case as if it were her own.
Ms. Alarcon is an active member of the State Bar of Texas-Paralegal Division and Fort Worth Paralegal Association in Tarrant County. She regularly volunteers her time in local pro bono clinics geared towards helping the immigrant community, and is a Court Appointed Special Advocate. She enjoys learning new things and expanding her knowledge, and she loves spending time with her family
